Question about older GK 700RB

I bought a GK 700RB a couple years ago from a guy on this forum. He told me to be sure to turn it up using the woofer control so it wouldn't distort. Is that normal? Thanks!

Yep...For a clean sound, turn the "Woofer" up to almost full, then adjust the volume with the first two gains ("Volume" & "Boost").
