Question about parts on amps

What are the holes at the bottom of the amp for? I think I heard someone call them bass holes before. Do they just move more air?

Huh?
Maybe you're talking about speaker cab? In which case what you're referring to are called ports. (which do move air, for the purpose of tuning low freq response)
