question about rmoveable casters

Hello all, I just joined a couple days ago. I've spent the last 4-5 days reading a lot of threads on the Mesa PH1000.(I own one) Just wondering if I took the casters off when I play live, if that would really affect the sound? Maybe make it a lil more resonate? Since the cab would be sitting directly on the floor. I understand peoples opinions on if they like the cab or not. That is not my question. Just wondered about the casters. Thx

It would slightly improve floor coupling.

thx That"s what I was thinking. Most of the stages I play are raised. I was thinking I would be able to feel the vibes better with it sitting directly on the floor.

Raised platform you will probably see a bigger improvement than flat floor. You need to try this :) Drummer might like it too.

wow worked great. i could feel my bass alot better and could turn my stage vol. down for a better monitor mix. and yes the drummer liked it better also. :bassist::bassist:

Nice, whats your overall opinion of the cab? Sounds like you like it. I had a PH1200, and it never saw the stage, but I found it to be a little bit boomy in the low end, but I'm loving my other Mesa cabinets now. What amp are you running with yours?
