Question on older GK Neo 112

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a chance to get a good deal on 1, maybe 2
GK Neo 112's.
The thing is the guy says they are about 3 years old.
I've been going between getting a Neo 112 II, or a Hartke 112 Hydrive.
Does anyone know when the 112 II's came out?
Is there a difference between the originals and the II's?

Dunno when exactly the IIs came out but I do know that they are different dimensions than the first generation. I think smaller.

So are you saying the first generation is smaller?
Thanks

My understanding is the internal volume of the cab did not change. The outside dimensions changed for stacking compatability with the other gk neo cabs. The series ones have a smaller footprint. I have both the 112 and 212 series one cabs.... very solid sounding, and bit heavier than the series two.

I love mine, and can't see getting rid of them anytime soon.... great little cabs.

This is funny, I'm look at the same two cabinets. Have found out anything as far as someone who has A/B them or have used both?
