Question re ART Pro Channel

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been looking into this as a pre for recording based on some solid reviews here and elsewhere, and the fact that they're relatively versatile and inexpensive. Question (and sorry if it's an ignorant one): can both outputs be used simultaneously? In other words, can you run an amp/cab and a DI at the same time for gigging? Thanks.

I posted this before having the brilliant idea of downloading the owner's manual:

"Both the balanced and unbalanced Output connections may be used simultaneously.
This feature is particularly handy when using the Pro Channel as a direct box for
instruments or line level signals."

But thanks!

Slight derail...
Can anyone articulate the difference between the Pro Channel and the discontinued Tube Channel besides the 2 rack space vs 1 rack space form factor? They look very very similar in terms of features to me.
