Post Question regarding changing wiring diagram for bass cabinet 4x10 from 4-ohm to 8-ohm

I have a question regarding changing wiring diagram for bass cabinet 4x10 from 4-ohm to 8-ohm. I have an Eden 4-ohm 4x10xlt cab and need a 8-ohm cab 4x10 cab.

Can I re-wire my 4-ohm cab into a 8-ohm cab? I have not opened the cab it but I am assuming it's either 4x16-ohms or 4x4-ohm speakers.

Any help is appreciated.

You can't half or double the impedance in a 4 driver cabinet.

It's probably 4x16 ohms. Like others have said, it can't be done with simple re-wiring.

Here are the possible permutations of four 16-ohm speakers, ABCD. Let s:series and parallel:

ApBpCpD = 4 ohms
Ap(BsCsD) = 12 ohms
(AsB)p(CsD) = 16 ohms
(ApB)s(CpD) = 16 ohms
As(BpCpD) = 21.33 ohms
AsBsCsD = 64 ohms
