one, i just got a way too good deal on a marshall 1960av and was wondering if someone could recommend some bass specific speakers to replace the vintage 30s in it. im looking at carvin. they make a 300watt 12 inch speaker that seems to fit the bill of what im looking for.
two, has anyone ever used a mesa studio preamp for bass? id love a d180 but the studio pre seems to be a more easily aquired peice of equipment. i know using a guitar amp ill lose some low end but i plan on running stereo with a bass di anyway. |
