Quick question over CarvinB1500 so I can stop double guessing myself...

Sign in to disble this ad
A CarvinB1500 + (4) 8ohm GK MBE410s for a 2ohm load out of the Carvin at 1900watts OR (2) 4ohm configurations of the same cabs to pull the same load. Which is a better idea with these GK cabs and this head?? (rated at 800 continuous each) How much of the Carvins load will actually be used?

More cabs = more efficiency = more total sound.

Where are you gigging that you could get away with 4 4x10s??

Haha just what I was wondering too. But either way I'm sure that would be a cool experience with those cabs.

It'd just be a rare occasion kinda thing, mostly for the hell of it. My band does a lot of outdoor stuff to large groups and half of our material (of course the stuff written by the guitarist and drummer before I joined the band) is pretty damn earbleadingly hardcore and loud. He's running two full Marshall stacks and our drummer has a large 14 piece kit and he likes to lay into it like theres no tomorrow.
