Quick question for those who've used the Shuttle 9 AND Svt 7

Pretty simple. For those of you who have used both, how would you compare the perceived volume between the two? It is the only aspect I have not compared, tonally I can easily get what I want from either and sizably, either fits the bill.

I have both. I have not used the SVT7 in a gig or full practice yet. In my home, the SVT7 appears to get a bit louder. Now, the Shuttle is certainly not lacking, and I would be surprised if the volume difference would matter in a gig situation - both should be ample. Other thoughts for sharing sake - I agree I can get a pretty similar tone with both. I think I had to try a little harder to get the same tone from the Ampeg, but standing alone, they both can give a great sound. The Ampeg's fan is much louder the the Shuttle, which is dead quiet. The Ampeg has a tiny bit more hiss noise, especially with treble turned up. Neither the fan nor the hiss would matter in a live setting, I don't believe. If I could only have 1, I would go with the Shuttle - a little easier to find a good sound, quieter, and smaller. I will keep both for now and give the SVT7 some gig time to get to know it. JMO - YMMV
