Rack mountable removable pedal board

I guess this goes here. I want to have my head and board in one unit to move, but I want to be able to pull my board out and put it on the floor in front of me. Are there any shelves that come out easily, as in without a screw driver? Also my head is a Fender Rumble 350 that is of an odd size so I'm going to screw it to a shelf to mount. Any ideas on how many spaces those two combined will take? I'm thinking 4, maybe 6.

Hi.

Zuss's take a coin if that's fast and easy enough.

I probably wouldn't trust just a spring locking push-pull fastener.

I'm not sure about completely removable shelves as you describe, but sliding rack drawers may be an option. Raxxess makes 19" sliding rack drawers from 2 to 4 rack spaces high, some of which are locking with a pre-installed key lock.

I'm currently building a custom rack which will house my gkmb800 and a 4 pedal board on top of it. There will be a 'door' velcro'd on the top and the pedal board will be velcro'd on top of the amp. I wont be taking the pedal board out very often, but it will be nice to have the option. My main purpose of this build is to minimize weight (I'm using 1/4 inch ply) and to maximize convenience as everything will be self contained. I'm also building it to the correct dimensions to go atop my 12/6.

Going the DIY route is a great option to get what you want that is hard/impossible to find in stores.
