Rackmount wings for GK MB500?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got myself a 3-month-old Gallien-Krueger MB500 as the heir apparent to my beloved 400RB. The problem I'm now facing is that nobody seems to have stock of the rack mount wings for this puppy.

Anybody got a line on these? Will the black wings for the MBFusion work? I see that GK does have those in stock.

Thanks all!

what is the point of getting a micro if you are going to rack it?

I heard that the MB Fusion ears will work, but I haven't tried it myself.

I just got a nylon bag for it. Best decision I made was NOT to buy a rack, ears, etc... it prompted me to get out of my comfort zone, get a pedal board and start experimenting with stomp effects. Otherwise I'd have gotten a rack tuner and maybe a compressor and left it be. YMMV.

Don't intend to rack it all the time. No rack for the upright gigs. But for some electro-slab bass things, I have rackmounted effects, compressor, tuner, etc.—and its safer and easier to carry the plastic SKB rack than the things individually.
