rat fur help?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just curious, can anyone tell me a magic way to smooth out the black carpet on top of my cab? My old head had velcro on the bag to hold it on and it pulled the black covering stuff so it looks all ratty on top. Any secret remedies?

Isn't there a way to like boil it off and put some fresh fuzz down? Can you yank it off if you "get it started," kind of like pealing an orange or a scab?

I've used a cordless beard trimmer and afterward I couldn't tell the difference between the parts I "shaved" down and the parts that never got fuzzy. It worked perfectly.

I use a battery powered sweater defuzzer that the wife had and it works great too. Anything like that will cut the fuzz down and make it like new.

Does the trick everytime. Cost me just under $20 from Walmart.

+1, work like a charm, but takes a bit of patience and elbow grease.
