Not many choices for used stacks in La-La-Alaska! I'm looking at a short stack and someone here is selling a Raven 100GH head with a Raven RG412 cabinet.
Anyone familar with these amps? He's asking $325 which is realistic for my budget at the moment.
thanx

I will temper the urge to ask you about Bristol and instead, stay on topic...thought the temptation is strong b/c the half a mile of your town that is not encased in ice 10 months out of the year would surely yield a Palin Family sighting.

What are you buying this amp for? What are you goals? Bedroom practice? Bar gig? I ask b/c at your pricepoint (+/- a few $$) there are many good used deals on good combos to be had.

Thanks Guys,
Practice amp with occasional gigging around--nothing overwhelming. I liked those 4 12's for the price. I don't need much for what I'm doing at the moment--but I didn't want to waste money either.

Palins not here anymore--they're in your neck of the woods 99% of the time rakin' in the big bucks with all the media hype.
Yeah, I always say: "..9 months of winter and 3 months of SPRING...: !!

Guitar cabs are NOT suitable for bass, especially if you're jamming with others. You'll fry them in no time. Even if you thought about replacing the drivers, it won't work. Better to look for a used bass combo amp that's capable of adding an ext cab. The GK MB210 is one.
