I use one in a studio I record at for guitars. We use it as a coaster/guitar amp and it sounds very, very good.
The joke there is the guy who owns this amp, Jack Endino, saw that we had "This is not a 300W Coaster" taped on all of our amp heads. He then taped "This is a 135w Coaster" on his. I would have to say this is the best sounding amp I have ever heard for tracking guitars. It is a beast.

Also if you ever decide to part with it, call me first. |

I guess I'll have to get some white gaffers and do the 50 watt version!

He sold a Blues Deluxe guitar amp for $275. I probably would have bought that if he hadn't already sold it when I called about the Bassman.
He's cool old guy, hooked up with a hometown buddy back in the '50's, formed a band and worked as a musician for most of the last 30-40 years.

It makes me want one again because it had the greatest tone I ever heard at low volumes..... and then I remember how bad it clipped and blew speakers at high volumes. If I ever get another one, (the last one I had was a blackface tweed...) home or studio will be the only place it goes.

Great amp, nice score and definately should have it checked over by a good tech to get it and keep it operating @ 100%
Now try to find the small box 2x12 cab to pair it with.
