I've been playing for a few years now and im gonna start gigging soon so I need something bigger then my combo amp. I'm completly ignorant when it comes to amps so i was wondering if the knowledgeable people here at talkbass could pick something out for me. I play mostly hardrock and metal and i play a fender p-bass for the most part. |

Disclaimer: I love mine, but really, it's all about what JimmyM said, do your own thing.

You could pair this with a GK 800rb, which is the best used deal out-there, IMHO. I use one as a backup and love it. GK growl works great for the type of music your playing, IMO. The nice thing about GK is that it is readily available on the used market, it's affordable and relatively bulletproof.
