Thanks everyone. It is not that I was not taking AgedHorse's replacement advice, (I must has skimmed over it too fast). Using 2 cabs is somewhat new to me. I was always the "Ampeg SVT\Amped 810e" guy.
When I bought the Fender Bassman 300, it sounded awesome through my Ampeg 810, but I used a 2x15 when I first started playing in the 80's, and the music I am doing now is 70's groove oriented. I found the Genz Benz 215 and it is
totally awesome. Thick bass
for days.
One day I plugged the 810e into the external jack on the amp to see what the two cabs would sound like together. OMG! The sound was so huge, thick, and the 810 just added that tight top end punch to the 15's. So I read the dozens of post on this forum about speaker combinations, and that the 1x15+4x10 was undesirable by so many, but the 2x10+1x15 was acceptable by many.
I want the cabinets to match design series if possible. I saw the GB 210T online, which is the same series as the GB 215T and I thought it would be sweet. The 210 though is 8Ω and the 215 is 4Ω, which might work out because the 215 will take most of the power, like Growlerbox said. And let's say it does not work well, I need a second smaller cab for smaller gigs anyway to use with my Bassman 100. I guess we will know when it gets here. It is a win-win no matter what. I know opinions are like, well. You see it here all the time when someone ask about a certain peice of gear or setup. But I do value what everyone has to say, (or I would not waste my time asking), and I do appreciate the advice.
I am leaving on business for a week. The cab will be here when I get back. I will reply back to this thread to share my experience. I was just wanting to know my options. That's all.
BTW, I tried to make a video comparing the Bassman 300 Pro through 215 or an 810 becasue there is just not much on this head, which is a shame. The mic on the camera sucked, so the 215 bass wave awesomness was too much for it. No other audio input on that camera. After owning multiple SVT tubers and SS amps for years, I have found an amp that can stand alone.
