I'm running a minimal pedal board with tube pre, to power amp (one of my channels is not working; that's why I'm looking) to eden & hartke 410's. I can survive on one cab but it would be nice to put both to use. Unless I sell one. |

The Carvin are reasonably priced new, and appear to be sturdy performers and well made. |

I was shopping for an IPR 1600 back when they were hard to find.
A local GC sold me one from the demo rack as "used". I watched as the salesman pulled it...no power or speaker cables were attached.
I paid "used" price for an "open box" amp that had never been turned on. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Baxter, TN | | | I bought a Hartke LH500 used off the classified for 250 recently. It is a "hybrid" tube/solid state amp that can run at 8/4 ohms. I love this thing. It sounds very nice and is very simple to operate.
P.S. I know you said solid state, but I am not clear as to why you want specifically that. This amp is for the most part solid state, but it sounds so good for what I do. Is a tad on the heavy side though.
