Recommendations for gig worthy combo

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking of replacing my current setup with something smaller, lighter and cheaper. I would like a combo amp that can handle cover band bar gigs. PA support is available if needed. Would like to stay under $500. I was looking at the new Carvin Micro combos but not sure if that will be enough. Also checked out the Peavey Tour series combos, which have the features and power but are a bit heavier than I want. Any thoughs?

I had a GK MB115 briefly, and gigged it a couple of times. Plenty of power, and IMO great tone also. Very gigable amp, and the MB210 and MB212 even more so I would imagine.

Also, very light weight, which is always a plus.

Lightweight, gig-worthy, and in the price range. Good recommendation for the criteria in the OP.
