Recommended small-ish combo w/ XLR out?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everyone,
I need to pick up an easily-movable combo with an XLR out that will function as a DI and personal monitor on stage in coffee shops, bars, and small clubs. I go through the house setup pretty much everywhere I go, so it won't need to drive the room. I'm looking for a 1x10", 1x12", or maybe 2x10" at the largest. My price range is under $500, but if this isn't possible for what I want, I'll save more and go higher. What do you recommend?

Carvin MB10 will fit all your requirements nicely, and it's small.

Line 6 Studio 110 fits the bill as well.

Thanks to you both!

That Carvin looks incredible - the electronics cover everything I need, and they might even save me a couple pedals with the compressor and hopefully the drive (if you can push it to overdrive, which I assume you can). The price is less than I thought I would have to spend for something nice too.

Thanks for the line 6 recommendation too. Amp modeling is just not my thing, so I'll have to pass on that one for sure. Looks like a nice unit for the right person though.
