Red light, green light - GK amp question

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a GK BP 250 head with a GK 115 BPX cabinet. I have connected the head to the cabinet. When I push the power button, it turns red, and occasionally flashes green while making a low popping sound. It does not make any sound when I connect the bass. It worked when I first got it (maybe 2 years ago), but when I went to try it a few weeks back, I had the problem I just described. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Yeah, 1st check your speaker cable, then if that checks out OK, try another cable... Something is causing your amp to go into fault mode, and it isn't necessarily the amp...
