removing cover from a speakon jack

how do u remove a dust/debris cover thingy from a speakon jack from an amplifier?

Are you meaning the speakon cable?

If so, it simply unscrews.

OTOH, if You're really asking what I think you're asking, I'd like a pic please. I've never seen a chassis or PCB mounted Speakon jack that can be taken apart.

IIRC once upon a time there was a Speakon female plug, but then the much better F-F adapter replaced it.
