Sign in to disble this ad
Bought an old 4 X10 speaker bottom needs new speakers. It is an AVATAR with 4 -10 inch 16 Ohm Eminence Speakers. The thing plays okay until you hit the overdirve pedal then all hell breaks loose. the botto, two speakers have torn surrounds.

Question to all, what is a good powerful replacement spekaer Eminence Delta 10B 350 watts or Carvin 10" or another brand ???????
I also thought about Celestion ???????

Help!!!!!

Sounds like a good opportunity to go all Neo. Dave at Avatar has good prices on his replacement drivers.

i wouldn't use the deltas. no low end. power handling isn't everything. you also need tone. i'd contact avatar, too...they know what works best in those cabs. i'd definitely consider neos if you want to play loud. they have a different tone from ceramic speakers but they take a lot of power and they weigh next to nothing.

+1. I haven't found Eminence speakers cheaper from any other source. He'll sell you exactly what you need for the best price you can find.
