Replacement Speaker for Keyboard Amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up a couple of free amps this afternoon and I have a question. One of them is a Peavey HKS-12 keyboard amp that I plan on using as a practice amp at home. It's pretty much in the condition you would expect a free amp to be in, filthy carpet covering, dusty, kicked in speaker. The guy I got it from claimed it works fine except for the busted speaker so I'm looking into getting a replacement. I've been looking around and have settled on the Eminence Beta 15A, that is, if it will work with this amp.
Here is the manual for the amp: www.peavey.com/media/pdf/manuals/80300942.pdf The busted speaker appears to be an Eminence 151312a but I can't find anything out about it.
You can find the specs for the Beta 15A here: www.eminence.com/pdf/Beta_15A.pdf
Am I clueless, or will this work?

Contact Peavey and ask them what driver should be installed in the cabinet.
