replacements for hartke xls

Sign in to disble this ad
I have circa late 80's early 90's hartke cabinets 115xls 410xls. I hate them . I use GK 400rb of the same era. I'd love to replace the speakers in the cabinet with paper cones. Live I play miked and non miked gigs and things get real loud. Would it be ok for me to get after market speakers. If so what would somebody recommend

The speakers in my 210 xls have been replaced with Emminence Legends by the previous owner. Never compared side by side with an original cab, but I can tell you that it sounds amazing and can be played quite loud. Of course, I probably paid close to the price of the replacement speakers only (under $200).
