Hey guys I'm gonna be replacing speakers in my ampeg 810 soon. Is there anything I should look out for when doing so? Is there anything ill need? Any tips?

My bet is that Ampeg did it that way using 32 ohm drivers to minimize the possibility of anyone screwing it up on the assembly line. |

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Norton, MA | | | I refurbished a '68 SVT 8x10 flat back cabinet a few years ago. Some speakers were bad, but others had survived. I had the ruined ones re-coned and it ended up being much cheaper than buying new ones. I suspect that the tome was much more even that if I had mixed old and new speakers in the same cab.

You would be surprised how many speakers get damaged this way. |
