If it were me... fix and keep the Eden in a 2u soft case and throw a Pitchblack in the pocket of your new rack bag.

Wussies- schlepping heavy gear keeps you young. Just dont over do it and always lift correctly. Going all light will make a milktoast out of you and actually make you more likely to hurt yourself. When did everybody get so wimpy? Besides, light rigs sound light and heavy rigs sound heavy. Unless you want to just fool yourself. All of this is my humble opinion of course. Next?

Well, that seems like sound medical advice. ಠ_ಠ

That was outstanding! Going home right now to add a cinder block in my rack!

cinderblock is useless unless you use it to keep your micro head from vibrating off your cab. Load an SVT II non pro in there and discover bass. Sarcasm meter is in the red, pinned.

Now youre talking. On a serious note- my GKs top out at little more than 20 lbs.
I dont suppose that qualifies as micro but theyre light as pancakes compared to the SVT. Question: is the core idea behind micro so that one can carry bass, cab, head and accessories all in one trip up 4 flights of stairs?

Remember my sarcasm meter is peaking.

Honestly weight isn't the issue. My gig requires so much support equipment, that space in my Honda Element is at a premium.

Basically. Also good for when stage space is at a premium. And some of them do sound quite good and can fill a room. Sure they're not SVT's, but they go up to the 4th floor on a gambling ship a lot easier. Not a bad idea to have a small rig with some power for such occasions if you work a lot.

The floor space my Neo 212 cab takes up isnt much less then a fridge. Stack them high.

Ah. Well there's no way around the looks of a couple 4-10's. I see your point.

I would say that's a definite yes. Yes. My similarly-purposed rig was Bag End S-15Ds and a 400RB, or a Trace 250SMX.

Right, now get up to the 4th floor on that casino boat with an upright and those 212's.

Yes, that is definitely the one. That bass is simply stunning. Glad to see there are others on here who agree

I know this is true for alot of people, but as a technophile it saddens me.
Smaller with equivalent volume and tone cannot be emphasized enough. The "look" is a terrible excuse for any music equipment, if its the only excuse.
Still everybody has their thing. If you can rock it, rock it.
