retro fitting Crown microtech 1200 for speakon

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello, I posted this question a few years back, but hopefully I'll get some updated info here. I run a Crown microtech 1200 for my rig power, but would like to retrofit a speakon into the amp. I currently use the banana to speakon but have had a couple of instances where the banana has come loose during high volume gigs. Any one done this retrofit? also at some point, I see myself using a smaller possibly different ohmage cab requiring a different configuration on the back of the 1200. thanks John

Not worth the effort. If a banana plug vibrates out it needs to be replaced 'cos the springs are weak.
