Hey guys just got my hands on one of these bad boys but need to retube both power and pre tubes. Any suggestions of tubes? I've never bought any before or had to retube so much help is needed! Thanks!

No power tubes, just a 12-AX7 in the preamp. I liked a Mesa Boogie tube in my SWR 350 pro.

Nah, you're fine man. That is a nice head! What cabinet(s) will you use?

Case u didn't know:
Tone controls flat.
Effects off.
Dial that aural enhancer to 0.
Pre up til light flashes then back a hair.
Master up for whatever damage is necessary.

Tone controls adjustment.
Then subtract treble if u want more bass.
Less bass if u want more treble. (I often just dropped treble to about 11:00.
SWRs seem to let all the frequencies of your bass through if u don't use radical eq.)
Add a little Aural Enhancer if u want but past 11:00 it can suck tone.
Effects are up to you, but SWRs put out a lot of lowend below hearing range so be discrete with that subwave effect. You can suck usable watts by boosting lowend you can't hear.
EH 12ax7s are consistent. Vintage Sylvanias are inexpensive, $30. They can sound very mid warm which is great in that amp. Reissue Tung Sols can be sweet sounding very musical.
Use a good speaker cable! I've heard SWRs roar with good large gauge wire. I've heard them sound anemic with lesser stuff.
