Rewiring Aguilar GS410

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Guys,

I own a Aguilar GS410 8ohms (& a DB751 Amp) and im looking to see if its possible to re-wire it as a 4ohm speaker box (for a little extra volume).

I understand that you can re-wire the speakers to equal 4ohms but how does the tweeter fit into the equation?

would I have any problems with the crossover on an 8ohms cab?

any help would be much appreciated

Can't be done. Do a search. I'm sure someone out there has explained why more thoroughly than I can at some point.

Now if you swap out speakers it can be done. At that point you've spent enough you could've bought a new cab.
