Rickenbacker tr120b?

Just acquired a Rick tr120b bass amp and have a crackle on just four notes, any suggestions in disassembly to clean pots? Thanks in advance

Which 4 notes? Are we talking about crackling sounds through the spkrs, or just when turning pots?

I have one, take out the 4 screws on the back, and the 2 on top, and the amp should slide right out. I had to have mine serviced when I bought it, the tech re-did a lot of solder connections, and cleaned the pots with one of those sprays. I think these are from around 1985? Now it's as good as new! Some folks take things a step further with amps that old and get them re-capped as well.

Awesome man thanks so much and its 9th through 12th frets on the A string, it sounds like a solder problem on the bass control pot, when turned down all the way there's no crackle but I'm going to clean everything out seeing as it is from the mid 80s lol
