Rig help (Ashdown content)

Sign in to disble this ad
hey guys. im looking at getting a new rig soon. a few months ago i played an ABM500 and really liked it, but now i dont have access to one and was wondering if the rig i am considering will work regarding wattage and connection.

here is what im looking at:

ABM500 into one ABM210T and one ABM115.

my questions are:

does the ABM500 have two outputs or could i chain the two cabs together?

would i have enough power from the 500 or would i be better off going with the 900 for that cab arrangement?

any help is greatly appreciated.

I would think daisy chaining the 210 to the 115 to give the ABM500 a 4ohm load would work best. That way you're getting the full 575 watts. Using the ABM900 with 2 8ohm cabs would only give each cab 300ish watts if you run 1 cab per side.

NOW...If you ran 2 210's and 2-115's with the ABM900 with 2 cabs per side...
