I'm currently using an Ampeg SVT3Pro which is powering a SVT610HLF. The cab is rated between 600-1200 watts, the head is putting out 450 Watts. Am I under powering this cabinet?

What BurningSkies said. :P

But really, your set up is fine. I ran my 700RB-II (480 W or so) through an SVT410HLF for awhile and had no problems.

My sincere apologies to the OP. I assume you've gotten the gist; there is no such thing as underpowering.
This thread is beginning to deliver.
