Just got done wiuth the once-a-month basement jam, and wanted to up the post count.
Rig was my new-to-me Kawai -->SABDDI--Mackie 1400i-->Avatar compact 15 (Emi Kappa).
Volume was sufficient, and the tone was good while playing. Listening to a playback (small 4 track fed by 2 room mics hanging from the joists, total pro setup.
), I was very pleasaed on the tone. Nice full bass, sat well in the mix, no high end zing, no speaker blats.
This could make a solid gig rig in my opinion.
The actual playing, not so much.
