Are meaningless. Looks like you have to set the gain and volume where it sounds best--- volume from any practice amp has it's limits.
I have a Line 6 studio 10 for practice. Works excellent.for gigs without a drummer and PA support. Add a drummer to the mix and I run out of headroom and air movement quickly with the 75watts and sealed 10" box.

The CB-30 with Gain at 10:00 (more distorts/farts) and Volume dimed, it's noticeably quieter than a Minx (with Faital 10FE200) with the Volume at 9:30.
I now see why I've read often that the CB-30 is only good for a practice amp. It sounds great, but has low volume thanks to the -20dB input jack.
