This looks like a nice little amp...lots of features in a compact box....good for practice and small gigs...

I did a search but nothing comes up so I'm wondering if it's a new product??

It's their new line of bass combos. The DB Bass combos have been discontinued.

I've played though the CB-100 and the CB-30 but until now, I'd never seen nor heard of the 120XL. It has some intriguing features.

My big hope is that Roland comes out with a bass pre, that is not a foot pedal, but rackmountable. The Boss GT1 is nice, but a million options that I would never use, and I hate floor stomp boxes.

Yes, and to give you an example...

My Bass Cube 30 (CB-30) with the volume turned between 12-1 o'clock rattles the windows, and causes the next door neighbors to look out theirs,
while they 'feel' the groove! The B string gets them tapping their feet next door, too!

How's the tone at higher volume?
