Cool Roland cube rx battery problem

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, recently bought the bass cube rx unit and really like it, use it for rehearsals and small gigs.
I have found that I have to change the batteries after only a short time, the sound starts warping all over the place as if someone is playing with the effects knobs. As soon as I replace the batteries it goes back to normal.
I always use it the power unit plugged in and with batteries in place, should I remove the batteries, or use rechargebles or what, anyone else had this happen?

I have been using mine with adapter for 99% of time. I put the batteries in only if I intend to use it at places where there is no wall socket. In that rare occasions, batteries lasted me 10+ hours without any sound degradation. Bottom line, always remove batteries when you're on power adapter.

Hope this helps!
