rubber feet for amp rack?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there any hardware stores that carry these? I'd rather not spent $15 in shipping for $2 in parts online.

The rack case I purchased for my amp head has feet on the sides but not the bottom that sits on the speaker cabinet, I would move them but I'd prefer slightly shorter feet anyway, so I think I will keep them where they are and get shorter feet for the bottom of the rack. Something soft to absorb the vibration and limit the rattling of the rack.

One thing I didn't take into account when I purchased this case, was that the clamps that keep the lids on stay with the rack when the lids are off, making it more prone to rattling parts.

Heres the feet on it and the rack clamps

Yeah most larger hardware and home centers usually stock several different styles of rubber feet.
Kinda looks like you could loosen the retaining screws on your rack case side feet, slip a nice fat rubber band under and between both of them, that could then be used to secure your latches from rattling.
ps: while your at the hardware store, buy a couple large O-rings to use instead of rubber bands, they'd look cooler.
