Rumble 350 vibrating noise

Sign in to disble this ad
hey another noob here.

Anyways I just bought a fender rumble 350 and its one hell of a beast compared to my rumble 25. It sounds great and everything except for this annoying buzzing sound that is coming from the back of the amp. Its especially bad when i turn it up, play certain notes or boost low mids. The buzzing isn't coming from my bass i know that for sure and it isn't really affecting the tone or the sound because I think the buzzing is coming from an actual part inside the amp. Im not sure if the amp is vibrating too much or if there is a loose connection .

What I want to know is, should I return the amp, is this normal, can it damage the amp and can I fix it?

Check all the screws for tightness. I had an old Rumble 210 that was dropped and developed a rattle. Turned out to be a baffle that had worked loose. Play a note that makes it vibrate, lay the bass down n press on different parts of the cab, chances are you'll find a spot that stops the vibration. If this is the case, send it back, as it was probably damaged during shipping.

There could be some loose screws or something. I've read a lot of posts about people tightening them on GK MB combos.

If it's under warranty send it back.
