Hey guys, i'm really really bad at things to do with amps..
I recently got a Peavy Stage Monitor http://www.zzounds.com/item--PEVPV12M
I got it free, it works fine..
I want to run it to my bass amp when my band practices..
I have a crate 50 watt and there's only one line out plug in the back and the P.A. has two open slot plug things.. Do I get a Y cable? a DI box? Those are both answers i've heard but i'm clueless.........
I want to use the monitor at its highest peak....... |

A speaker out will say "Speaker out" or "Ext. Cabinet" or something very similar. If it has a "Line out" or "Slave out" then you can send it to a separate amp, then to the monitor.
A line out will not work to power the monitor.
Jimmy is a great guy, and you should listen to his advice in the future, but he is mistaken in this instance.
