Given the reviews here and pretty much everywhere, am salivating over one of the above amps (more likely the 112 or 115). Went to a GC to check it out (the 210 was in stock) and was gobsmacked by the tone.

Question...do they all have "essentially" the same tone...T or F?

Secondly, and THE huge issue for me, I'm currently in a very crowded, generally quiet living situation and for the most part won't be able to play at even moderate levels. I know the speaker and the cabinet are essential to the overall sound, but how do these puppies sound over a pair of cans? How close to the same sweetness can I get?

I often practice with an MP3 player and a set of ear phones plugged in to my MB210, it sounds good to me .
