SA200 versus SVT

I'm wondering if anyone has soundclips for a direct comparison.

I would really like to get an SA200 but I'd like to hear it directly compared to an SVT. I play an SVT-II non pro but I'm sure the CL or VR are similar enough that they would give a good comparison.

Tom Bowlus started a thread a few weeks back that was a tube head shootout including a SVT and Sadowsky among others. There were YouTube clips for each head as wells.

Thanks but I definitely know that signature SVT sound. I've been playing an SVT for a couple of years now and love it

I've just been contemplating saving/borrowing for an SA200.

To be honest though... after listening to those videos, I much prefer the low-mid fatness of the SVT but I'm sure the SA200 could be EQ'd for those fat low-mids.

I just can't shake that feeling that my life would be a whole lot better if I got an SA200 haha

Those are two fairly different sounding heads. The SA200 is right at the top of my personal mountain of tonal nirvana, but if you want to sound like an SVT, then the best choice is an SVT.
