Know I've read about people using the MB500 and MB200 with no speaker load, as preamps. Does the same apply for the MB Fusion?

;-)

(eg. tube DI's) Power tubes on the other hand MUST have a speaker load on them, or damage will result. The Fusion like many hybrid amps (tube pre- SS power) is fine to power up without any.

Anyway yes, no loaf is fine as it's not a tube amp.

;-) | That was funny, I'm still laughing. The only thing I don't understand is why would you need bread for an MB Fusion?

"Taking the Ball and run with it" is an American idiom. And bass players know how to "take the ball and run with it" on or off the stage.
