SansAmp RPM with Eden WT800. Anyone got this?

I use an Eden WT800B with an X2 XDR95 Wireless, Sabine Rack tuner, and DBX160A in my rack also.

I love the clean clear sound of the Eden but there are times (pounding on my P bass for instance) where I would love to have that gritty tubey OD in the mix. I am trying to stay away from a pedal board.

I am thinking from what I have read on TB about the RPM that it would be good in my set up - adding some nice variation to my tonal options. I want to know if anyone has this combo, and what their thoughts are on it. Does the RPM and an Eden head play nicely together?

How would you recommend hooking this up to the WT800? My options are to run it in line with X2 and tuner into the input of the WT800 or running it in the pre EQ effects loop. My dbx160A is in the post EQ FX loop.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!

I have a eden wt550 and LOVE the tech21 VTbass pedal. not that there is much need for me to have distortion in a church group, but I think the vtbass pedal has better variety of distorted tones....

I put my vtbass between my guitar and amp input. don't know how that works with a compressor.... I don't use a compressor anymore.

good luck!

Well this set up has finally come together for me and it awesome!!!

I ended up running the RPM in the pre eq fx loop. Running the RPM into the pre amp of the Eden created noise - as I expected it might running a preamp into a pre amp.

So much tonal variation on the RPM. Overdriven tone to SVT. switch it off and you are back to the Eden tone. Very happy.

I just have to make a lead so I can use my Boss FS-6 to turn the RPM and the Tuner on and off as I need and I am done!
