Satisfaction

Last night was a very satisfying gig! First, my guitar player (no guitard is he) came back from Nashville, so I have my satisfying band back together. Second, after about the 6th round with the soldering iron, my Ampeg SVT 4 Pro did not cut out at all - it may be fixed for real now. Finally, and in blatant disregard of conventional cab-mixing wisdom, I stacked my newly-purchased Epifani PS210 cab on top of my Eden 410 and reaped all the benefits luck can bring. I actually cut the lows, boosted the mids and achieved a tone that just sat right in the mix. The sound was simply .... satisfying. It filled the stage without being too loud, and all the band members, regardless of stage placement, commented how well they could hear all the notes from low to high.

Back again tonight with no setup work, and plenty of time for a nap between now and then!

Naps can certainly be satisfying.
