Nice. The *one* negative thing I would say is that, and I'm simply restating the experts' opinion here on TB, it's not a good idea to have speakers of different sizes...I picture it as the soundwaves "fighting" each other, phasing each other out at some points. If the 2x12 is an 8 ohm cab, perhaps you can add a second 2x12 easily?

Please tell me you're not planning on crossing over and running the mids/highs to the 2x12.

Worth noting, the 212 is 400w handling and the 115 is 200w handling so be careful. The 15 is rated to go 10 hz lower in this case the cabs will not be capable of boomin' reggae bass.

no both cabs will be run full range. I will be running the cabs from different channels since the World 1.2 is a stereo power amp. So it looks like the 2x12 would be getting 350watts and the 1x15 200watts from this set-up

Will there be much phase issues with using both of these cabs together

+1 to not my thing, but if it works for you I'm content with my GK MB115.

Gotta say though, what was Alembic thinking with the power switch on the back of a rackmount pre? Seriously. There is nothing that justifies that.

Good luck with the saving!

Well, most of TB will tell you that you're better off getting two identical cabs. I'd just get two of the 2x12's if I were you to avoid any potential issues. You get more power, more cone area, plus you can stack them vertically and get the sound right at ear level!

PS- I have the 410 with the coax tweeter and absolutely love it! My second favorite cab next to my Genz Benz 610.

my only issue with the BagEnd 2x12 is that it only goes down to 50hz and I need a little more low end for the low B on my Jaydee 5 string. Thats why I am looking at the S15B-D

I'll need one of the more knowledgeable dudes to back me up, but I do believe that most of the sound you hear from your low B is second order harmonic and above. (60 hz and above). The frequency specs rated on cabs are usually +/- 6 db so you could expect the 15" to roll off to -6db by 40 hz (E fundamental) and further by the time you hit the B. Neither cab is ideal for reproducing frequencies that low, especially at volumes to compete with the rest of the spectrum.

that is a good point.. Well I know for sure I will be getting the F-1X, World 1.2, and D12-D. I will see how that goes and if it performs well I will probably get a second D12-D
