I've had a month's worth of shows to give this Schroeder 410BMF a good test, and I'm finding that I love this cabinet.
The specs aren't on the Schroeder website anymore, but its close to the "light" model:
4 custom Neo-Drivers
1200watt RMS (mine is a 4ohm)
51 lbs - 23.5"x23.5"x16"
I talked to Jorg about upgrading from my 1212R for larger shows, and the 410BMF is what he recommended based on my gig needs. I needed a cabinet that could handle up to 2000 watts, plus all of my instruments. Besides my regular bass signal, I run a MIDI bass signal, electric upright, Roland SPD electonic drums, and theremin through the same cabinet.
This 410 handles all of that with no sweet. Everyone talks about the old Schroeder design having a mid bump (which I've always dug for onstage monitoring), but this cabinet is much smoother and super punchy, and super loud. I found everything I've thrown at this cabinet is clean and clear, and I still have headroom if I ever need it.
For outdoor shows, I tried using the 410 with the 1212R. The combination of these two complimented each other really well. There was a nice mid growl mixed with the 410 punch and drive. But in the end, I found that I really just prefered the tone of the 410 with my power amp bridged. And that's great since I was looking for a one cabinet solution.
Thanks again to Jorg for working with me to find a great cabinet to fit my needs.
Here are some shots....
