I was goofing around on the internet last night and saw that a GC about 40 miles from me has taken in a pair of Ashdown ABM210 cabinets in used. They were asking $199 each for them and I thought is they are UK made ABM's it a decent deal. I went down to look at them and sure enough they said Made in the UK right on the back. They were in nice shape and sounded great (I was playing them with an EBS 350 watt head). I asked the manager what he could sell them for and he said he would take $325 for the pair. Then I found out they even included covers! I was thrilled. I just bought a GK MB200 and wanted the cabs to run with it. Now I can run one cab at 130 watts for practice or daisy chain them to get the full 200 out of the head. It should make a great little rig. |
