sealed 4ohm 410 cab?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys I'm looking to purchase a sealer 4ohm 410 cab and I can't seem to find anyone who makes one. I've tried a lot of ported ones but I'm not a big fan of there sound. Does anyone know of a company that makes one?

This SWR Neo cab is my first and LAST 410. 800 watts, 55 pounds, wheels, small, AND I can hear everything even standing right in front of it. I stole it used from a nearby Craigslister for $400 and never looked back. My 112 Aggie and 112 Epi are collecting dust as a result. Find one and buy it.

cab

Hartke AK410 cabs. I have been gigging a new pair and love them. So much so, that I will be getting a bergantino nv610 to save myself a trip back to the truck. I may be selling the sealed hartke's, maybe, just because I'd have them, the berg and an ampeg 8x10.

What you dont like about ported 410īs and are you sure that sealed cab would make things sound different (better) to you?

I'm not a fan of the boomy lows. Just about every ported cab I've plugged into seems to have sooo much lows that the mids seem to be no existant. And all of them seem to have a tweeter which imo makes them even worse. They all sound scooped to me

Bergantino NV610. But..but...but it's a 610. Yeah I know, but it's as small and light as most 410's and very portable. Do yourself a favor and end your cab search for good.
I traded a bass for one and when I went to pick it up I walked right past it because I was expecting something much bigger. I went from an Ampeg 410 HLF to the berg which was smaller and lighter and sounded SOOOOOOO much better!

Reeves makes a sealed 410. I am also considering buying one. Ported cabs don't sound as good to me with tube amps.

According to the info at sweetwater.com the Hartke AK410 is a specially tuned and ported cab.

If it is mids you are after, I'd use an Eden 410 XLT. Great mid growl, but it does color your sound a bit.

I think you should take a look at BFM jackīs. definitely not boomy lows and very present and pleasant mids, still loud as hell.
