Searching Aguilar replacement, blown speaker

Sign in to disble this ad
Im really upset with Aguilar international Customers service. Here its the point: im a happy owner of a Agui DB212, awesome cabinet, but one of the speakers just stop working, its seriously damage and i need a new one. I tried on aguilar web shop but its not allow international shipping and the dont reply my e-mails. I need to know where can i get a replacement in Europe or Brand+ref(Eminence Delta i guess) to buy a new one on a local store.

Any suggestion its really welcome

I have a brand new aguilar 12'' speaker, 8 ohm that I can sell if you want. I bought it for backup but never used it and since sold all my aguilar cabs. PM if interested.

I'm surprised that aguilar is not answering your emails. They've been nothing but perfect in handling any situations I've had in the past.

Did you try calling them? Everytime I had to call them at work they've always answered the phone and been extremly helpful. Contact via phone is always better then email.

I'm not sure you contacted us directly. Our software on the web store doesn't allow international data; but we will be glad to work with you via email and sell you a new speaker. Best to write Marco at info@aguilaramp.com.

Also, you can contact our distributor in Spain. They may have stock.

I would not put an eminence Delta in that cabinet. Anyway PM me if I can help.

Dave

For what it's worth, I've contacted Marco a few times over the last year or two and ALWAYS received a prompt and helpful reply. I'm sure he'll get you sorted out. Aguilar's customer service has always been top notch...and their products ain't so bad, neither.....

I would be willing to wager the BN10-300X series would more than compensate for the Aguilar driver.

You are the one however, whom always has to be contrary, so I am sure you will find plenty of differences. Every time I have replaced any Eminence with a Celestion, I have been quite happy. Which is more the idea I was trying to convey. Obviously if you have a cab and you are only replacing one speaker, pick the same one. IMO if you are going to replace them all go with Celestion. I do enjoy their sound and the SPL charts are quite nice on them as well.

The specs I found with a brief search on the Aguilar drivers, have 2 of the Celestion lines exceeding them in most ways. They wouldn't be a good match paired together. Though I may not have found the correct specs for this particular driver.

It's not just driver specs that matter. It's how they work in a given cab design.

I've seen some great drivers sound horrible in a particular cabinet.
