Eden EX112 is very light and I think would meet your needs.

I agree. Or if you can spend a bit more, a Schroeder Mini 12+L... Awesome tone and power imho. And 20 lbs.

This is what I've had the chance to try so far:

Markbass traveler 102P, traveler 121H, New York 604

Of the three, I like the New York 604 the most. I would describe it as mellow, dark, smooth, with emphasis on low-mids (200Hz - 400Hz range). I thought the 102P and
121H were very nice sounding cabs - until I a/b'd them with the 604. Then they both sounded kind of loose and boomy in the bottom, a little lacking in the low-mids, and a little barky in the upper-mids.

My LMIII was still within the return period, and I had a chance to a/b it with a Markbass Big Bang and a Aguilar TH500. Of the three, I liked the TH500, so I returned the LMIII and Big Bang. The TH500 is just as many of you have described - warm, rich, with a low-mid emphasis. Also a little wooly if you want it to be. I like the mute button on the front, and the sweepable midrange is a HUGE selling point - why doesn't every amp have this???
The Big Bang is nice - but I don't want to have to schlep a foot switch to be able to mute, and the tone just wasn't as warm as the TH500.
So the TH500 is a keeper - and I have two weeks left on the exchange for the New York 604 cab, so I'll see if I can find something I like better. But for now, the rig is the TH500 with the NY604. This is exactly what mam1862 recommended, and I think he was spot on.
BTW - I live in the D.C. area - with three Guitar Centers within driving distance, I could not find the 604 cabinet in stock - I had to order one online to try it out. Has anyone else in the D.C. area noticed how crappy the bass department is in all three Guitar Centers? Very limited selection.

Barefaced Compact
That Bareface Compact does look nice - but it's $900 - and I imagine shipping it back to the UK if I don't like it would also be expensive. That's just too expensive, considering all of the other great options that are available for much less money.

I actually spoke to the green one the other day. These cabs came up. The target of these cabs was to give those that require portability above all else options that dont suck. If you are a jazz player, acoustic set player etc. then these cabs are a great option. If a 210's volume will be more than sufficient and you want a lighter and smaller package these might be what you want. Also discussion between a few people that have played through these has pointed out that something like an fdeck hpf-3 really brings out the volume of these cabs. If you need to hang with a loud-ish drummer there are more economical ways to push the low/light/loud barrier.

There is a lot of light weight cabs out there. I would go to GC and try some out. Have fun.
I wanted to +1 mam1862 on the NY604. Tiny footprint with hefty low end. I gig small clubs with 1, and medium with 2. The 2x604 stack gives out a mini 8x10 vibe. The 8 drivers put out some massive lows, and the footprint is tiny.

GC in Delaware, PA and NJ do not stock the NY604 either. I think it must be an order only item for them.
